About the Congress

Uni Wien

The 2nd World Congress on Men's Health, held October 25-27, 2002 in Vienna, Austria, was a tremendous success. It was organized by the Center for Advanced Medical Education and Health Communication, the Institute of Social Medicine and the Department of Urology - all of them members of the faculty of medicine of the University of Vienna. This was the largest meeting ever held in the field of men's health, with more than 700 attendees from 72 nations, seeking a better understanding of the pathogenesis, prevention strategies and treatment of men-related diseases: from boys to men - from science to practice.More than twenty plenary lectures covered the hottest topics ranging from urology/ prostate cancer, cardiovascular disease and erectile dysfunction to BPH, boys´ health, the male psyche and the aging male.
