ABSTRACT SUBMISSION HAS BEEN CLOSED ON JULY 2, 2007

Authors with original research are encouraged to submit abstracts relevant to Men's Health.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Men's Health & Gender; www.jmhgjournal.org

Abstract Submission Guidelines 

  • Abstract submission deadline: July 2, 2007
    Authors are requested to submit abstracts in English.
    Please format your abstract in Microsoft Word and email it to our congress office MCI - Vienna Office. Do not submit abstracts by fax.
  • The abstract should not exceed 2,500 characters (including empty spaces). Abstracts that do not comply with the guidelines will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts will be accepted for poster presentation, a very limited number will be accepted for oral presentation. Please indicate your preference at the beginning of the abstract or in the enclosed e-mail.
  • Abstract titles should not be longer than two lines and should not be in all caps (e.g. correct: Comparative Analysis of the 3 PDE 5 Inhibitors Sildenafil, Tadalafil and Vardenafil - Personal Experience and Review of the Literature)
  • Type the author's initial first and then the family name followed by the rest of the authors' names, underlining the name of the presenting author, then the institutions, city and country (e.g. N. Huber1 , R. Schneider2, S. Müller3, 1Univ. Clinic, Dept. of Urology, Vienna, Austria, 2Hanusch Hospital, Vienna, Austria, 3Univ. Clinic Hamburg, Germany). The complete address and email can be added at the very end of the abstract if wanted.
  • All abstracts must be structured as follows:
    • Background: A statement of the hypothesis or research question.
    • Methods: An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
    • Results: A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading the abstracts. Statements such as "additional information to be presented at the meeting" are not acceptable.
    • Conclusion: Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.
  • If possible, do not include graphs or tables.
    All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The accepted abstract will be assigned to appropriate poster sessions. A notification will be emailed to every author.
  • All authors who wish to present their abstract at the congress must pay the registration fee. No honorarium, travel or accommodation expenses will be provided for presentations.
